STATEMENT of faith

We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, who loves us and exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, is true God and true Man who died on the cross for our sins. He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven. He is at the right hand of God the Father as he intercedes for us.

We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in its original writings, which reveals to us His will for our salvation. The Bible is the final authority for all Christian faith and life. The Holy Spirit also indwells, guides, instructs, fills, and empowers the believer for godly living, mission, and service to one another in love.

We believe that people are born in sin and cannot inherit the kingdom of God except through the new birth. Justification before the holy God is by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in the true Church composed of people united together in the body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is the head.

We believe that Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return in glory to raise the dead and bring salvation and judgement to completion. God will fully manifest His Kingdom when He establishes a new heaven and a new earth.
